About the League

The Shabbona Lake Youth Fishing League is a free and open-to-the-public league for children and teens ages 3-17 that meets for six weeks over the months of July and August, and allows children and teens to learn how to fish while participating in a friendly fishing competition.

*Our Mission: The mission of the Shabbona Lake Youth Fishing League is to provide a fun and educational environment for children and teens to learn how to fish, and participate in a friendly fishing competition with their friends, families, and peers.

The league is sponsored by Pokanoka's Café and Tausch Technologies.

*Note: All children under the age of 10 MUST be accompanied by a consenting adult at all times. Thank you!
